By downloading, installing, or using the Sentinel app, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Sentinel is an AI-powered news intelligence platform that creates automated briefings by searching publicly available news sources, analyzing content using artificial intelligence, and presenting summarized reports.
Sentinel is not a news publisher. We aggregate and analyze publicly available content from third-party news outlets. All source attribution is provided. We do not create, endorse, or verify original journalism.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You may sign in with Apple or Google
- One account per person — do not create multiple accounts
- You may delete your account at any time in Settings
3. Subscription Required
Sentinel is a subscription-based service. After completing onboarding, access requires an active subscription:
- Weekly: $3.99 USD per week
- Yearly: $69.99 USD per year (includes 7-day free trial)
Existing monthly subscribers (purchased before May 2026) may continue their plan at $7.99/month until cancelled. New subscriptions are weekly or yearly only.
Subscriptions include up to 15 active AI journalists, real-time refresh, push notifications, and access to all features.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- The renewal charge is processed within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price of the active plan ($3.99/week, $69.99/year, or $7.99/month for grandfathered subscribers)
- You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings
- Free trial: the 7-day free trial on the yearly plan is one per Apple ID. The unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription
- Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the App
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Post abusive, threatening, or harassing content in comments or messages
- Use the App to spread misinformation or manipulate public discourse
- Attempt to manipulate trending algorithms or engagement metrics
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use automated systems (bots) to interact with the App
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. AI-Generated Content
Intelligence reports, summaries, insights, and Ask Sentinel responses are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy:
- AI output may contain errors. Sentinel is an analysis tool, not a definitive source of truth
- Always verify important claims by checking the linked original sources
- Confidence scores are estimates, not guarantees of accuracy
- We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated analysis
Sentinel does not provide financial, legal, medical, or professional advice. Market intelligence features are informational only — not investment recommendations.
7. Intellectual Property
- The Sentinel app, its design, branding, and original code are owned by Sentinel Intelligence
- News content displayed in the app belongs to the respective publishers
- Reports you create are yours — you may share, export, or delete them
- By posting comments or making reports public, you grant other Sentinel users the right to view and interact with that content
8. User Content
When you post comments, send messages, or share reports publicly:
- You retain ownership of your content
- You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display your content within the App
- You can delete your content at any time
- We may remove content that violates these Terms
9. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.
10. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, accuracy of AI-generated analysis, availability of any specific news source, or that the App will meet your specific requirements.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sentinel Intelligence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
